CROCODILE NILE Hunting

Crocodylus niloticus
Distribution: Most of Africa south of the Sahara where there is permanent water.
Description: The Nile crocodile is by far the largest in Africa, averaging 11-1/2 feet (3.5 m) in length, occasionally to around 16-1/2 feet (5 m), and sometimes even more.
CITES: Appendix I (Protected Species). Requires import and export permits.
