    A REMARKABLE REPORT FROM TURKEY

Congratulations to our hunter Mr. Slava on harvesting Hybrid Ibex in Turkey: with this trophy he now has all three Turkish ibex - a truly serious achievement for any dedicated trophy hunter!
The three Ibex subspecies of Turkey have their specific features. Here are the nuances:

    BEZOAR IBEX
It is a classic Turkish ibex: males weigh 60-90 kg, with horns reaching 80-110 cm and showing characteristic ridges at the base. It has a brown coat, perfectly adapted to the rocky Taurus Mountains (Antalya and Alanya region, 2000-3000 m).

    COASTAL IBEX
It is adapted to the conditions of the Mediterranean area: 50-70 kg, horns of 70-95 cm (thinner and shorter than those of the Bezoar), light grey camouflage coat working well for the scrub and mild climate of the southern slopes (from Mersin to Adana).
This subspecies is more agile but less massive which provides for higher maneuverability. It is a high class game for hunting at 1500-2500 m.

HYBRID IBEX - THE TRUE MYSTERY
This subspecies features mixed genetics: sabre-shaped base combined with lyre-like curve, weight 70-100 kg. 20-40% introgression from domestic goats (Capra hircus), as confirmed by DNA analysis.
Isolated herds inhabit government concessions in Eastern Taurus and private ranches as the result of centuries-old crossbreeding.
This trophy trio is a rarity: fewer than 1% of hunters collect all three. Our congratulations to Mr. Slava.

    SIKA HUNTING STORY

Our real hunter and loyal customer Mr. Steven kept on with his hunting adventures last season. Frequently Asked Questions

  • How do I book the hunt, if I have already chosen a game animal and a destination country?
    arrow

You need to get in touch with our manager and discuss the details of your hunting trip. After that we will sign a contract and provide an invoice for a booking deposit.

  • How far in advance do I need to book my hunt?
    arrow

We recommend that you start planning your trip about a year before the departure date. Some of the trophies and destinations are very popular, that is why it is necessary to book in advance to get the licenses and the best camps.

  • Is it hard to import my trophy to my home country?
    arrow

The trophy shipment process is quite complicated and calls for wide experience of the broker/logistics company. Once the hunt is successfully over, we can pass your trophy to the experienced and reliable brokers and logistics experts, who will safely deliver it to your trophy room.

  • Are emergency circumstances possible during the hunt? How can I get help being so far away from home?
    arrow

You will need to get special insurance prior to the hunt. It must cover the emergency circumstances (adventure tourism). Also, there are always several experienced guides out there with you, ready to provide all necessary help and support.

  • Are your staff members hunters themselves or do they only have office experience?
    arrow

One part of our Team are the passionate veteran hunters. The other part consists of highly experienced office staff, who are also adventure travelers.

From the time of being picked up at the airport to the time I got dropped off I enjoyed Mongolia. Very hospitable and caring people there, the food was excellent for a mountain hunt, yurts were clean and warm for staying in, plenty of food and snacks)). The scenery was great with mountains and plenty of animals to see, but quite rough roads in areas!. As for hunting the gobi terrain, I thought it was very easy, nice and there were plenty of animals around to choose from!! In the Altai region there was a big and very beautiful lake we stopped to see, mountains were steep and rocky, and many different colors so it was awesome. Also we got this ibex on the first day and again we got a decent trophy in both areas so im completely happy with everything about Mongolia.

Starting for the most difficult of the 3 tours. Mountain hunting is some of the most complicated and demanding around the world, but these mountains cook apart.
A quick and very sufficient adventure.. I managed to hunt this spectacular species of Southern Russia in the Caucasus mountains bordering the countries of Azerbaijan and Georgia.
This beautiful specimen of the 3 species is the most complicated one because there are no large groups and making the hunt is climbing high mountains and very long shots. .. that remains undefeated!
Thank you God for such an experience and beautiful trophy.

Everything was amazing, far above expectations. The organization and logistics were excellent.
The Yakutia snow sheep camp lodge was much more than expected, probably the best sheep camp I’ve been to: very comfortable, clean, and well-prepared for hunters. Guides were amazing: professional, hardworking, and knowledgeable. Equipment overall was top-level: ATVs, Big Foot trucks, large 4x4 quads, and hydro boat transport. Access to camp by hydro boat was well managed and added to the adventure. All logistics were smooth and professional.
Overall comfort and camp services were excellent.

We met Vadim at the airport. We’ve been with him for a couple of days. Great, great guide! In Kazakhstan we got a beautiful Maral and a beautiful Mid-Asian Ibex. Then we came here (Uzbekistan). In Uzbekistan we looked for this beautiful trophy (Urial) for the last 6 days. We spent two days in fly camp. And Vadim has been a great guide, very supportive. He translated everything with Anton and the whole team. Thank you very much Vadim with Stalker Group. Great company, great trophy, we are very grateful to you, thank you very much!

I would like to write a book describing the adventures I just lived, but I don’t have the time nor the skills to do so…
I’ll just say I’m grateful for everything! New friends! New landscapes! New memories! And of course, a great trophy! Thanks a lot!
As much as a heart can! We will keep this trip in the bottom of our hearts! Once again, There are no words to describe the adventure we just lived! Caucasus is a landscape that God shaped on his most graceful moment! And the Russian people are just lovely, everyone treated us as one of their own!
We appreciate all the attention Stalker gave us!

The Stalker Team and the Nepalese side gave us the opportunity to experience the most specific hunting in serious hard conditions as well as intensive search for the animals. Luck favored us during our stalking. I am grateful to the Goddess of hunting and the luck that allowed us to get this wonderful trophy! Unforgettable emotions, and I think that we still have lots of hunting together ahead. Thanks everyone!
