Pakistan is located in the southern part of Asia. It is a heaven on earth for the mountain hunters. Pakistan offers hunting opportunities for a great variety of majestic trophies, including several species of urial, ibex and marhour. The community-based trophy hunting programs work great in the country, providing direct advantages for the local people.
Hunting season in Pakistan runs from December till March.
ROUTE
Arrival city is Islamabad. If you plan to hunt Blanford Urial and Sind Ibex, then it is possible to fly directly to Karachi via Dubai.
Once you arrive in Islamabad, the domestic flight shall follow to Gilgit, Quetta or Chitral depending on the trophy you aim at. The car transfer to the hunting area will take 3 to 6 hours from the local airport.
Please keep in mind that the local flight might be canceled due to bad weather. In that case, the hunters will be transferred to the hunting area by car, the drive takes up to 15-16 hours.
HUNTING
This is a classical mountain hunt. Hunting for Markhor and Urial is quite demanding physically, because long distance hiking is necessary during the day. The animals stay at elevations of about 8,200-11,500 feet (2,500–3,500 meters).
Hunting for Blanford Urial and Sind Ibex does not call for extensive physical exercise, because the species prefer the elevations of 1,650-4,900 feet (500–1,500 meters).
ACCOMMODATION
Comfortable guesthouses are used to accommodate hunters in the southern and central parts of Pakistan. Each house has double rooms, shower, WC, living room and kitchen. Local village houses or herdsmen cabins are at your service in the northern regions.
