Canada is very diverse in its climatic zones and landscapes. For example, the Rockies region in the west of the country is one of the most fortunate climatic zones with abundance of flora and fauna. At the same time, the Arctic is a land of midnight sun and polar nights, where the temperatures remain below zero all year long, and the environment is the most inhospitable on our planet.
Hunting in Canada is possible from March till the end of April and from August till the end of December, also in January-February. The exact recommended terms depend on the desired trophy.
ROUTE
Depending on the trophy desired and the chosen hunting area, you can arrive to one of the international airports: Edmonton, Calgary, Ottawa, Montreal, Winnipeg or Toronto. From here you will take a domestic flight to the hunting region. The final part of the transfer can be arranged by car, on a horseback, on a snowmobile or even by a dog sled.
HUNTING
Horses are used for hunting in the Rockies (Alberta, Ukon, British Columbia). If your goal is the sheep hunt, better be ready for the lengthy and tiresome rides. The other species are mostly hunted on foot, some serious trekking required. The average shooting distance is 300-500 yards/meters. The altitudes total 6,500-9,850 feet (2,000-3,000 meters).
In the Arctic Canada in fall the game is searched along the coast, as the hunters travel on a boat. Quads are used in the continental part. In spring hunters use snowmobiles to explore the area.
ACCOMMODATION
Base camps consist of log cabins with cots or wooden beds, or of small panel houses with a stove.
Tent camps are used for 3-4 days as a rule, after that the hunters return back to the base camp. or change the hunting area.

It is a real fishermen theme park!
“In the joy of hunting is intimately woven the love of the great outdoors. The beauty of woods, valleys, mountains, and skies feeds the soul of the sportsman where the quest of game only whets his appetite.” Dr. Saxton Pope
