European Red Deer Hunting
Cervus elaphus hippelaphus
Distribution: Mainland Europe (except for Scandinavia and the Iberian Peninsula) as far east as the Crimean Peninsula and south of Russia.
Description: The largest of all red deer. Stag can have antlers with 20 or even more points and weighing more than 22 pounds (10 kg). The antlers are usually darker than in other red deer.
