Northern Macedonia is a landlocked country located in the central Balkan Peninsula in Southeast Europe. It is one of the successor states of the former Yugoslavia, from which it declared independence in 1991. It is here in this still unspoiled country where you can experience great hunting for large Balkan Chamois, Kri Kri Ibex, Mouflon and deer.

ROUTE

The arrival point is Skopje, the capital of Macedonia. The airlines that fly to Northern Macedonia include Turkish Airlines, Swiss, Lufthansa, British Airways, TUIfly etc. After finishing the necessary custom formalities you will be transferred to the hunting area by car. Plan to spend 5 days in the country, including a 3-day hunt.

HUNTING

Hunting is organized by stalking or by waiting. The hunt is relatively easy compared to the other mountain hunts.

ACCOMMODATION

Accommodation is provided at a luxurious hunting house with eight rooms. The house is located within the hunting grounds. The food is excellent.

AREA

Lakavica reserve is situated about 62 miles (100 km) south from Skopje. This is a territory of approximately 7,000 hectares, of which 2,500 are fenced. The hunting terrain is mostly mountainous with typical Mediterranean vegetation. Many Muflon, Wild Boar, Fallow deer, Roe deer, Axis deer, Kri Kri Ibex, Barbary sheep and other animal species inhabit this region.
