CROATIA

The undoubted advantage of Croatia as a hunting destination is a possibility to combine both the full-scale hunting and a great family vacation. This country offers, on one hand, the warm coast of the Adriatic Sea, the unique historical sights and beautiful alleyways of Zagreb, numerous stores and amusements, thermal resorts and waterparks, and, on the other hand, the perfectly organized free-range hunts, experienced guides and the best trophies.

“For people who grew up hunting, shooting often settled the mind. It was something that required full concentration, and therefore took you away from your troubles, at least for a short time.”

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Which airport of Croatia is the point of arrival?
    arrow

Most hunts are organized in mainland Croatia, and therefore you will need to arrive at the airport of Zagreb. However, depending on the hunting species and if hunting on the islands, you can also arrive at the airport of Zadar or Split.

  • Do I need to receive a visa to go hunting in Croatia?
    arrow

Citizens of many countries are allowed to travel to Croatia without any visa requirements. Please kindly check if your country is on the list, or send us a request.

  • Can I bring my family with me to Croatia?
    arrow

Yes, of course. Croatia is a great choice for those who want to combine a full scale hunting and a great vacation at the Adriatic coast.

  • Can I collect all Croatian game species in one trip?
    arrow

Yes, you can. We can organize hunting for a couple desired species, or a combo hunt involving transfers between different hunting grounds. Cars, ferries and boats are used for transportation around the country. Please plan 10-14 days for such a trip.

  • What is the least recommended period to come hunting in Croatia?
    arrow

We do not recommend coming at the beginning of summer. During the hot summer days all animals are less active, they hide from heat and it is more difficult to find them. Therefore the success rate is lower.
