Siberian Roe deer
Capreolus pygargus pygargus
Distribution: Mainly from the eastern foot of the Ural mountains eastward in Siberia, Kazakhstan and northern Mongolia. Also in eastern Kyrgyzstan, Xinjiang in China and on the northern slopes of the Caucasian mountains.
Description: Considerably larger than the European roe. The antlers are also much larger, heavily pearled and widely separated in the form of a V.
