Distribution: Canada: British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, southwestern Northwest Territories. USA: Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, North and South Dakota, California and Nevada.
Description: A very large whitetail with a relatively pale coat and heavy, widespread antlers.
CITES: Appendix III. To export this species from any country that has included this species in Appendix III, an export permit is required. Import of the Appendix III species requires a certificate of origin issued by the exporting country.
