Distribution: Mediterranean Islands.
Description: A handsome ibex with blackish-brown markings that contrast with the lighter overall color. Males have large, scimitar-shaped, laterally compressed horns. The front edge is a sharp keel with a number of bold, sharp-edged, widely separated knobs.
