East Caucasian Tur (Dagestan Tur) Hunting

Capra cylindricornis
Distribution: The eastern part of the Greater Caucasus Mountains.
Description: Somewhat smaller than the West Caucasian Tur. The beard is very short. The horns are rather unusual for a goat: smooth and rounded, curving above and behind the neck. The horns reach 32-45 inches (83-116 cm) with 12-13 inches (31-34 cm) at the base.
CITES: Appendix II. Only an export permit is required. These species do not require an import permit (only in some countries that have adopted more strict rules).
