Distribution: Swamps and marshes in southeastern Angola, the Caprivi Strip in Namibia, northern Botswana, southeastern Congo (K), Zambia northward to the south end of Lake Tanganyika and adjacent parts of Tanzania.
Description: The coat is a uniformly drab brownish gray, without stripes and without spots on the hindquarters. Females are a darker brown.
