Distribution: USA: Virginia, West Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee, North and South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana and Florida.
Description: A moderately large whitetail in body size. The antlers are fairly heavy, though often short.
CITES: Appendix III. To export this species from any country that has included this species in Appendix III, an export permit is required. Import of the Appendix III species requires a certificate of origin issued by the exporting country.
