Sayan Ibex Hunting

Capra sibirica sibirica
Distribution: Western and Eastern Sayan Altai mountains in Russia.
Description: A large ibex with thick legs, a long beard and heavy scimitar-shaped horns. Horns slightly shorter and the coloration is paler than those of the other Siberian Ibex populations. The GSCO/Ovis have recently recognized Sayan Ibex as a separate species.
CITES: Appendix III. To export this species from any country that has included this species in Appendix III, an export permit is required. Import of the Appendix III species requires a certificate of origin issued by the exporting country.
