Mideastern Red Deer or Maral Hunting

Cervus elaphus maral
Distribution: Anatolia; the Caucasus region of Russia, Georgia and Azerbaijan; northern Iran and southern Turkmenistan.
Description: A large deer with a stouter build and narrower scull than other red deer. Antlers are large and massive and seldom have more than eight points to a side.
