Distribution: Eurasian lynxes are found in the taiga forest zone from Scandinavia to eastern Siberia, and in the mountain forests of Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
Description: The Eurasian lynx is the largest of the world's lynxes. It is a distinctive, medium-sized cat with prominent black ear tufts, pronounced cheek ruffs, relatively long legs, very large feet, and a short tail with a black tip.
CITES: Appendix II. Only an export permit is required. These species do not require an import permit (only in some countries that have adopted more strict rules).
