Distribution: The Yucatan peninsula in Mexico and adjacent parts of Belize and Guatemala.
Description: Larger and lighter colored than the North American brocket. Antlers are simple spikes of 3-7 inches (75-178 mm), but occasionally in older bucks one or both antlers will show a very small brow tine.
