Distribution: Mexico: Sinaloa, Nayarit, Colima, Guerrero, Oaxaca and Chiapas.
Description: Bigger in size than the Mexican Gulf Coast Whitetail, but smaller in size and antler score than the Mexican Texanus.
CITES: Appendix III. To export this species from any country that has included this species in Appendix III, an export permit is required. Import of the Appendix III species requires a certificate of origin issued by the exporting country.
