Distribution: Gobi and trans-Altai Gobi in Mongolia and China.
Description: The horns are shorter and slimmer than those of the Siberian Ibex, but the cross ridges are often larger and closer together.
CITES: Appendix III. To export this species from any country that has included this species in Appendix III, an export permit is required. Import of the Appendix III species requires a certificate of origin issued by the exporting country.
