Central American White-tailed Deer or Tropical White-tailed Deer Hunting

Distribution: Mexico, Guatemala, Belize, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama.
Description: The smallest North American whitetails. Mature bucks average less than 100 pounds (45 kg). Antlers are short, slim and compact, with usually three points to a side, including brow tines.
CITES: Appendix III. To export this species from any country that has included this species in Appendix III, an export permit is required. Import of the Appendix III species requires a certificate of origin issued by the exporting country.
