CAPE BUSHBOCK Hunting

Tragelaphus scriptus sylvaticus
Distribution: South Africa, except for the Transvaal low veld and northeastern Zululand.
Description: A medium-sized bushbuck, dark brown to almost black in color, with only a few spots on the hindquarters and perhaps the belly. The head is a lighter brown, with a dark brown forehead and the usual black nose stripe. Actually somewhat similar to the Menelik bushbuck of Ethiopia, except for the dark forehead.
