ARGALI SEVERTZOV Hunting
Ovis ammon severtzovi
Distribution: Uzbekistan, in the Nura Tau range in the southern part of the Kizil Kum desert, northwest of Samarkand.
Description: Argali weight is 132-138 pounds (60-63 kg), the skin color is gray-brown. The horns length of mature ram ranges from 36 to 43 inches (93 to 110 cm). The horns have a homonymous shape.
CITES: Appendix 2. Only an export permit is required. These species do not require an import permit (only in some countries that have adopted more strict rules).
