ARABIAN ORYX

Oryx leucoryx
Distribution: Oman, Jordan and Saudi Arabia, UAE.
Description: The smallest oryx with the white body color contrasting with the dark chocolate markings of the head, neck, legs and tip of tail. The tail is long, with a bushy tip.
CITES: Appendix I (Protected Species). Requires import and export permits.
