Distribution: Found throughout Ethiopia, with the exception of the Gambella region in the extreme west, the montane habitat of the Menelik bushbuck, and the Juba and Webi Shebeli drainages in the southeast.
Description: Shoulder height 26-30 inches (66-76 cm). Weight 80-100 pounds (35-45 kg). A smaller bushbuck, fawn-colored with a black dorsal crest. There usually is an upper horizontal white stripe and a lower row of spots, but sometimes these are diminished or lacking. The underparts are darker.
