ABYSSINIAN BOHOR REEDBUCK Hunting

Redunca redunca bohor
Distribution: Western and central Ethiopia, except for the Gambella/Akobo River area in the extreme west. Also in the Blue Nile-Dinder-Rahad region of eastern Sudan. Found at all altitudes, including the tops of the Arussi and Bale mountains at 12,000-13,000 feet (3,600-4,000 m).
Description: The Abyssinian Bohor Reedbuck is light buff in color, with short, thick horns. Lowland specimens have short, thin coats, while montane specimens have coats that are long and thick.
