Wild Boar and Mouflon Hunt in Austria.

By Lyndall McCormack. Report ID: 10205.

Beautiful countryside, a challenging and successful hunt; Guide Philipp Kunze had excellent contacts with landowners and gamekeepers, he knew the hunt areas very well, everything ran smoothly and was relaxed and flexible according to weather and animal conditions. Good advice with hunt technique and local etiquette, excellent safety.

Everything went exactly to the plan given by Stalker Group. Very reliable, good communication by email, and helpful advice and assistance throughout.

These areas around Wien (Langenlois and Burgenland) are recommended for non hunters accompanying. The scenery is lovely, and there is excellent local food and wine. The wineries have a lively scene with many visitors, and the hosts at the wineries are friendly and hospitable to the hunters. The hotels are charming, family run, and good value, and the villages very picturesque. This hunt was a very exciting family trip, a great way to spend time together as a family, and see outside the traditional tourist areas of Austria and Wien.
